On the 3rd day, I checked myself in at Shangrila Boracay. Since I cannot afford to stay there for the entire duration of my vacay, I opted to stay even for just one night to experience just how wonderful their place and service is.
Sundo-hatid ka everywhere ng buggy, it's a haven for people who are too lazy to walk. Lol! I partied at one of the villas come nighttime. Again, I had too much cranberry + vodka. Sarap! Went back to my room around 3am and then slept until 10am the next day. Twas a good thing I still made it in time for the breakfast buffet.
When it was time to check-out, they have a speedboat that will take you straight to the jetty port. Di na kelangan mahassle sa bangka. Haha! The best part about staying there was I got to take home their toiletries. L'Occitane baby!!!! :) hahaha! I think I brougt home enough stash to last me a month. Lol!
So, am back home. Back to work. It was a quick but fun getaway. My mind's still in vacay mode.

Dearie,
Alta Vista offers better service. You'll notice that their shuttles are everywhere and their guests never get stranded. Last December, I felt pity for the Shang guests who always had to wait for their shuttle at D'Mall. In contrast, we freely shuttled back and forth.
Beyond that, I also like the Shang. And in some respects, they're a bit classier than AltaVista.
By the way, the timing of your trip is splendid for me as I've just written a short contri about Boracay to CNN. Bwe he he!

Coleman - yup, my friends din suggested the same thing. Much better daw nga sa alta vista. Oh well, it was a spur of the moment decision. Hehe. Will try Alta Vista next time! :)
