Psssst, Thank You ha?

#1 Site - Blogs on Sex

Bwahahahaha! Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ako o ndi, pero salamat.

Hindi naman ako bastos na tao. Marami rin namang bagay bukod sa sex ang mababasa dito. Hahahaha! It's just that mas open lang talaga ko magkwento ng mga bagay-bagay that other people find sensitive or taboo kasi ganun talaga ko eh. Malaya, opinyonado, masayahen, makapal ang mukha. =)

Salamat sa pagbabasa! Have a great Friday everyoneeeee!!!!!!!

The Unpure One,

-=K=-

P.S. Kinopy-paste ko talaga kase baka bukas mag-iba na yung resulta eh, LOL!
P.P.S. I went somewhere nice last weekend but I haven't posted a review of the place yet. Maybe I'll do that this weekend pag ndi ako tinamad, hehe!
P.P.P.S. Thank you rin pala sayo Marvs for including me in the Hall of Famer's list kahit na sinabihan mo kong over-age na. Hahaha!
P.P.P.P.S. Thank you rin sa nagbigay ng discount vouchers at white chocolates!
P.P.P.P.P.S. Thank you rin sa nagbigay ng magazine!
P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Yun lang po. Thank you! :)

RUB Ribs and BBQ, Tomas Morato

If you want to rub elbows with one of the tastiest ribs in this side of town, you better head over to RUB Ribs and BBQ. Since I was just home all weekend (well except for the quick dinner I had in Katipunan last Saturday) nursing over my sickness, I felt like I needed to go out and eat something good. And that was exactly what I did this morning.

RUB Ribs and BBQ is a new addition to the rows of restaurant in Morato. It is located at Sct. Rallos, just a couple of tumblings away (haha) from Shakey's.

The place is not that big but it looks homey and cozy inside. We ate in the 2nd floor which can accomodate about 20-25 people, approximately. (if they're all as slim as me, hahaha!)

We ordered french fries & nachos while we were waiting for our ribs to arrive. I wasn't able to take a decent picture of the fries because I was hungry already, I only remembered to take a photo when it was almost na-dah. Hehe, sorry naman, tao lang. The dip was orgasmic! I forgot what it's called but it was mayo-based with a hint of garlic and everything divine. LOL.

It would've been better if the nachos had a little bit of pork, cheese and veggies sprinkled on top.

See I told you, ubos na  yung fries when I remembered to take a picture! Hahaha!

I don't think I can finish a whole slab so I only ordered half a slab of pork ribs & rice with corn as side dish. My friend ordered the same for himself except that his sidedish was mushroom and spinach.

Masarap sya sabayan ng beer, pramis!

And last but not the least, there were interesting quotes that were on display all over the resto. Naaliw ako basahin sila isa-isa. Below are my favorites --

"When things go wrong, don't go with them!"

Let's all start our week right! Think positive thoughts!!!! (5 days nalang, weekend na naman! Yeheyyyyy!)

Happy New Year!

2010 has been a good year for me. I was able to go out of the country thrice this year. I was able to find balance between work and school. I was able to enjoy my time with my family and friends.  I was able to find love (or so I thought).  I learned to love myself more.

I have a lot of realizations and lessons learned this year. And I will be bringing these lessons with me in 2011.

I am grateful to God, to my loved-ones, to my friends, to you. Thank you everyone for being a part of my 2010! :)

I always spend New Year's eve at my parents' place but this year is different because I'm spending it alone in my unit. My original plan was to just sleep and rest and let the holiday go by but I figured, life is too short to be "KJ"! Hehehe.

So what did I prepare for my New Year's Eve meal? Hmmmm... well, I have Pasta Paella, Seafood Pizza, Cheese & Crackers, Cake, Fish & Chips and milk! Yeheyyyyyyy! It's a party for one and I'm loving it! Hahahaha.

I hope everyone's having a fabulous time this New Year whether you're spending it alone or with your loved-ones!

Let's all welcome 2011 in style! =) Cheers to a bright and fruitful year ahead of us!

P.S. - Wag kayo magpaputok ha? Or kung ndi nyo talaga mapigil, wag kayo magpaputok sa loob! Hahahaha! (Loob ng bahay!)

My Blog Turns "1" !!!

Today marks the 1st year anniversary of my blog. Yipppppeeeee!

This blog has served its purpose in more ways than one. It has become my online journal throughout the year. It has been my outlet, my sounding board. When I feel sad and lonely and I feel like venting out to the world, my blog has been very useful. On days when I feel happy and chirpy and funny, this blog has been very tolerant of my weird sense of humor. This blog has also seen me through times when I feel like being a drama queen.

Alot of things have changed this year - in me, in my life. And I am so grateful that I have this blog to share my experiences with. It has stayed by my side for the past 365 days. It has become my virtual friend. It's become my therapy.

Thank you to everyone who spares a few moments of their day to read whatever weird stuff that I write here. Thank you to all the people who leave their comments. Thank you to all the people who sends me email when they appreciate what I write.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. ♥ ♥ ♥

Cheers to more stories about life, love and everything in between. Stay tuned!

Weekend Tales: My Sashimi Experience

I had a super fun Saturday with good friends. I drank a lot of booze that night so I had a major hang-over the following day - splitting head-ache and an upset stomach. Ugh. Bad combo!

I was just planning to stay home and rest the whole Sunday but a friend asked me out for dinner. I wasn't really in the mood to go out but my friend was so persistent that I eventually gave in. I wasn't in the mood to dress up too so I just went out in shorts and sando. Haha, parang pupunta lang sa kanto. LOL.

I thought we were just going somewhere near my place but my friend decided to bring me to Ayala Triangle Gardens since I've been raving about how much I wanted to see the lights and sound show. Had I known that we were going to Makati, I would've dressed to the nines. Hahahah, arte lang! Anyway, we arrived there by 9pm and there were alot of people in the area. We didn't catch the show because it's only from 6 to 8 in the evening. Bummer! I was in the mood to eat chicken rice in Wee Nam Kee that night but the restaurant was packed! As in super dame ng taoBlockbuster sa pila! Hehe.  Because I was already super hungry and I didn't want to wait in line, we just decided to eat in Omakase.

I really don't like eating anything raw. Well, except for *toot toot*.... Hahahahahah! I eat Kinilaw but I don't think I can consider it as raw since the fish has already been cooked in vinegar. So anyway, my friend dared me to eat sashimi and I was his willing victim that night. Hehe. He took pictures para daw I have memories of my first Sashimi experience. LOL!

Ewwwww hilaw!

I ordered Coke and Tamago soup too so that I can have something to wash down the gooey after-taste of the sashimi. :) Madaya ako e! Hehehe.

And now for the main part... Kikoman, check. Wasabi, check. Calamansi, check. My friend kept assuring me that the fish looked fresh so there's nothing to be yucky about.
Did I like it? Uhmmmmm, well.... you know the saying right - "A picture paints a thousand words." Hehehehe!

I can't remember the names of what we ordered for dinner. Nawala ako sa wisyo dahil sa pagkain ng hilaw na isda. I'm not cut out to live the sosyal life. Syet. Hahahaha! Basta dinner consisted of salmon and chicken. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. Hehe.

After dinner, I wanted to take pictures of the lights around the triangle but by the time we got out of the resto, all the lights were out already! Waaaaaaaaaa! Napakamalas ko naman talaga. They turn off the lights by 10pm, said the guards. Oh well, will just come back there next time.

Since we still didn't want to leave, we just goofed around the place. My friend gave me another dare. He dared me to strut a super-jologs pose. Opkors I was game for it. Pose lang pala e. :)

After that, we went to Starbucks in Greenbelt to people-watch while drinking coffee.

Tapos nung nandun kame, there was this woman who made a scene because she said that one of the guards daw in Starbucks was being rude to her. As in she was screaming like crazy. Sayang I didn't capture it. It's in times like this when I wish I had a Flip Mino. Hahahaha! So I can capture everything in HD.

Babae : Napakabastos mo! Bakit sino ka ba? Guard ka lang dito ah!
Guard : no comment.
Babae : Lagi ako nagpupunta dito tapos lagi moko ginaganyan.

Yehey! Ang saya :) Sayang talaga wala akong dalang video recorder. Hehehehehe!

How'd your weekend go? May na-witness din ba kayong away sa kalye? :)

Let's talk about SEX errrr SIX!

Today marks the 6th month of my blog!

Yay! I was never the 'monthsary' type of girl even when I was still in a relationship. I believe that milestones should be measured in years, not months. But hey, this ain't a relationship, this is BLOGGING - pure, unadulterated blogging!!!! And it's not easy to think of ideas every now and then, mind you.

I started this blog because I was bored one fine evening six months ago and I just wanted to have a venue where I can write my thoughts - sometimes perverse, sometimes emotional, most of the time blah but nevertheless 100% real.

I am no writer. I don't make sense sometimes (okay, correction: most of the time). My English is comprehensible but flawed. I sometimes get confused about my subject-verb agreements and my tenses. Haha! But regardless of these things, it is my passion to write and to share my thoughts that has made me rise above it all.

I have met people because of this blog. I have forged friendships with some and have been social acquiantances (see I cant even spell it right! Haha) with the rest. I love that I learn new things from these people, new words (soliloquy and superfluous are at the top of the list! LOL), new catch phrases. And I can only hope that my unpure thoughts have also made their lives, your lives, happier, hotter and sleazier. Haha! Can't help it.

Please keep the emails and the comments coming because I learn a lot from you as much as you learn a lot from me and my twisted, unpure life. From the bottom of my unpure heart, thank you! :)

Cheers to more unpure articles! Happy 6th month-sary to me!

Six fcuks, errr pack pala,  for my 6th month! Kampay! *hahahaha*

My 1st Blogger's Event

I started blogging last December 2009 and joined this beautiful community composed of equally talented and uber-friendly bloggers that is Nuffnang! :) They held a contest sponsored by GlutaMax last February - well, the rule of the contest is that you should write about your own personal transformation in your blog. I wrote up mine in the hopes of winning that much-coveted Apple MacBook Pro! (Refer to this link)

Fast forward to 1st week of April, I got an email from Nuffnang inviting me to the GlutaMax awards night happening at Eastwood City. You can just imagine how thrilled I was to attend my 1st ever blog event.  It was held on a Wednesday and all of my friends had work the following day so I didn't have a +1 that night.

The invitation was at 6pm so I got there a few minutes before 6.  There were only a handful of people the moment that I arrived and it was only around 6:30pm that people started pouring in.  There were a lot of bloggers present that night as well as people from the media.

The program started a little before 7 and the hosts that night were Mojo Jojo and Suzi from 89.9.

They served pastries and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Delifrance and Old Vine.

(thanks to justanotherpixel.net for taking my picture)

Nyoy Volante was present that night to serenade all of  us.

They flashed the pictures of all the contestants on the big screen. There were 39 entries in total and mine was entry # 25.

(sorry for the quality of the pictures. The cam was acting up that night)

Though I didn't snag the MacBook Pro (DAMN!!!), my 1st ever Blogger's event was fun! I made new friends, ate a lot of paninis, drank a lot of iced tea.. and in the end, it was all worth it! LOL!

The Unpure Panini Lover,

[Special thanks to Carlos Palma and Anne Franco from Nuffnang who were very warm and accomodating that night.]
