Absent

I didn't go to work today because I'm not feeling well.  I feel like my head's going to explode plus I'm having menstrual cramps. (LOL, too much info).  I just feel soooooooo exhausted! I wasn't able to rest during the  weekend because I did alot of errands here and there.

So here I am, sick and reeking of Vicks and efficascent oil! :) Hehehe.  I feel like my whole body's in pain so what I did earlier was I splashed efficascent oil all over my body. Ginawa kong lotion. HAHAHAH! Sarap! I smell like a hawt lola! Weet weew. 

Since I have plenty of downtime today, I used that as an opportunity to start wrapping some of my Christmas presents. And by wrapping I mean putting them inside the gift pouch. LOL! Hindi kase ko marunong mag giftwrap. Good thing I saw these plastic gift boxes. Wala kase talaga kong ka-art art sa katawan. 

Yehey! At least kahit absent ako today, productive pa rin kahit papano. Hahaha!  I just wish I'll feel alot better by tomorrow so I can go back to work. I hate skipping work because the load piles up too fast even if I'm only gone for a day. Aguy!

And because I was just home all day, I did nothing but rest and watch news on TV.  

Maybe I just don't have a compassionate heart pero ndi talaga ko naaawa sa kanya kanina when I saw her on TV. Hay life.

Grabe, it's been 3 weeks since I last posted. I can already see cobwebs forming on my blog. Hahaha!

What's Up, Ketchup?

Christmas is just three months away. I am not a millionaire (and not even close to being one) so I only have a special list of people who I give gifts to every Christmas. At the top of the list are my pamangkins -  I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews.

For the past two (or was it three?) Christmases, I haven't bought them anything special. I just gave them money so they can buy whatever they want to buy. I am a bad aunt, I know. So this year, I want to make it up to them by giving them real gifts. And by real gifts, I mean, usable and practical and wrapped gifts. Hahaha. Because I know how special Christmas is for kids, right? And I know how they anticipate un-wrapping their presents.

I started my Christmas list a couple of days ago, and I bought gifts already for two of my nieces. I still don't know what to get my nephews. Ang hirap mag-isip ng gifts para sa mga boys =( I don't watch TV that much so I don't know what's the 'in' thing for teenagers nowadays. Hmmmmm... They might kill me if I buy them anything Justin-Bieber. Hahahahahhaa!

I remember one Christmas when I couldn't decide what to get for all 6 of them. So what I bought for them was these rubber shoes that had built-in rollers in them. It was what most of the parents were buying at that time so it gave me the idea that that was the 'in' thing for the bagets. Luckily, they all loved it. Hehe. Ndi nila alam, naki-usyoso lang ako sa kung san maraming mga bumibili sa mall.

Anyway, I didn't leave the mall without buying something for myself too! I like quirky, crazy stuff. So when I saw these shoes in the mall, I knew that I had to get them. Parang feeling ko ginawa talaga sya para sa mga loka-lokang kagaya ko. Hahahahaha!

Brogues + rubber = LOVE!

When I wore it the next day, my friends all said the same thing - "It's sooooo you!". I don't know if it's an insult or a compliment though, ahahahahhahaha!!!!!

Merry Christmas!

December 24

I had a fun Christmas Eve. I spent the morning of December 24th with a good friend I haven't seen in awhile. We had breakfast in Technohub. We updated each other with our respective lives and it was super fun! We laughed, we cried, we bonded. I love it!

I met up with a friend of a friend on the afternoon of the same day. We had lunch and then coffee. We shared stories about life and work. And then we did a bit of shopping and ended the day with a few bottles of beer.

It was a good day. :)

December 25

I went to my parents' house. All my siblings were there too so it was a lot of fun! Ndi kame naghahanda kapag Christmas.  We treat it like a normal day. We always celebrate on the 26th because it's my Dad's birthday. So earlier, I just brought pizza and icecream. My sister brought pasta. My other sister brought salad. My brother brought himself. Hahahahah!

Tulog pa sila kanina so I woke them up when I arrived. Hehehehe!

My sister gave me this silk nightgown para daw magka-boyfriend nako! Hahaha!

My super cute inaanak! She's so pretty and chubby! *gigil*

We bonded the whole afternoon and we heard mass in the evening. It was a good day spent with my whole caboodle. Tomorrow's going to be fun because it will be our Christmas + Dad's birthday celebration. I gave my dad his gift kanina and he loved it. He was smiling like a little kid. Super cute :)

Weekend Tales: Club Circa

Why are there alot of kids out on a Saturday night? Where do they get their pang-gimik? My friends and I were in Eastwood last night and boy was it full of teenagers! When I was their age, I didn't have enough money to go out and party. My baon can only go as far as a lunch and movie date in SM North. Hahaha!

And mind you, mas madami pa silang perang pambili ng beer. Hahahaha! Kung sino yung nagtatrabaho na, yun pa yung kuripot to spend on alchol. LOL! Iba na talaga ang panahon ngayon. :)

Lasing nako kunware. Look at my friend in the background, parang nagsa-sunbathing lang. :)

Kung makasayaw kame, feeling bagets lang! Hahahaha!

Random Post!

Hello everyone! Wala lang...

I'm too tired to blog but I just feel like I have been MIA for the past few days and I need to make my presence felt. Hahahaha, as if! I'm still alive. Just busy with work stuff. You see, I had a very longgggg and tiring day at work yesterday. My energy ran out faster than I had imagined so I rested my eyes for a bit. Looking at the computer screen and staring at Excel worksheets all night long can be quite a drag.

No, I'm not sleeping. I was just resting my eyes. =D

After my 10-minute power nap, I ate my 'baon'. What's on the menu (Hehehe)? Uhmmmm let's see... there's choco-covered crackers, oatmeal cookies, McNuggets, cheeseburger and coffee!!!!

So I ate....

And ate to my heart's content....

And, after what seemed like eternity, finally, the Unpure one is fool, errrr full! Burp! I'm back to being an energizer bunny! Yehey!

Isa lang ang narealize ko sa post na to - Ang lapad pala ng noo ko! LOL.

And that, my friends, is the story of my life. xx  Hahaha! Walang kwentang post no? :) Oh wait, may pahabol, an officemate gave me Piaya as pasalubong. I love Piaya!!!!

Dear Santa

Dear Santa Claus,

You know what, I find you sexy. I have a strong attraction for older men. I also find your bigote sexy. I love men with facial hair. I love the feel of stubbles against my face, my neck, my uhmmmm... Ok, ok, I'll stop. Wholesome nga pala ang image mo, I forgot. Hehe. Sorry.

I am writing to you because December is just a couple of months away and I would like to give you a rundown of things that I want for Christmas. See, I'm super nice right? I don't want you to stress yourself thinking of what gift/s to get me. I have to be honest with you (I get extra pogi points for my honesty, right?), I have been naughty this year but I was mostly nice so I'm sure you wouldn't feel like it's a drag to give me these gifts. I deserve it Santa, I really do. Seriously. *pa-cute look* 

1. Polaroid Pogo Camera

You know how I love to take pictures of myself and the people and places around me, right? It would really be cool if you'll give me this because not only can I take pics, I can also print them in an instant. High-tech diba? I promise you, I will never use this to take naughty pictures. (I've a Canon digicam naman for that e, hahaha.)

2. Oris Watch


Santa, if you're feeling super generous this year, can you please give me that watch? As in that particular model. I've been eyeing that baby for so long but I never got around to buying it because you know, I'm poorer than a housemouse. (Ano ba sa english yung mas mahirap pa sa daga?) Hahaha! But if you're tight on budget, I understand. I can always settle for that cute hot pink Swatch Huyana watch. See, I'm no brat. :)



3. iTouch

Because I'm such a good girl, I won't ask you for an iPad. And besides I find the iPad too big for my liking. I used to have an iPod video Santa but I disposed it just a month ago because the screen got crazy. Sigh. So an iTouch from you would be nice. I can listen to all my Bossa nova mp3s while playing TextTwist! Yehey! Imagine me sitting on your lap while tinkering with my iTouch. Nice diba? Hahaha!

These are all material things, I know. But I'm just being real. I don't want to sound hypocritical by asking for world peace. Hahaha! But anyway, if you're really tight on finances this year, I would really understand. After all, Christmas is about being with loved-ones regardless if they give you presents or not. Its their presence, not their presents, that makes Christmas meaningful. (I hope I sound convincing enough so I can earn extra pogi points for Santa.) Hahaha!

Kidding aside, just being with the people that I love is all that I ask for. The wet sloppy kisses from my pamangkins, warm hugs from my siblings, unconditional love from my parents and of course, sweet-nothings and butterfly kisses from my boyfriend -- these are more than enough reasons to make me look forward to Christmas. No amount of Oris watches, iTouch and Polaroids can beat that!
