I BELIEVE!

I believe in miracles!

And when I say miracles, I'm not referring to the life-changing, look-ma-i-can-walk-now or WTF-i-dont-have-cancer-anymore-allelujah kind! Hehehehe. I believe in small, everyday miracles that happen to each of us.

Sometimes we refer to it as luck.

Sometimes we call it right timing.

I choose to believe that a miracle happened (to me) today.

I'm going through a very interesting phase.  I'm in the process of growing and learning and reinventing. I'm trying to carve out my niche. So anyway, today's a very big day for me.

And just when I thought that I was already kicking-ass, something happened! Something stupid happened. And it was all my fault!!!!!!

I have been trusted to take that one big shot and I missed!

Parang gusto ko sampalin yung sarili ko kase ang tanga ko! *major face-palm moment*

I prayed. And in my prayer, I told Him "Lord, I just want you to know na gustong-gusto ko tong something na to. Kung para po sya saken, please give it to me. Kung hindi naman, I would understand."

Syempre sinabe ko talaga sa kanya na gustong-gusto ko talaga yun para ma-pressure sya! Hahahaha! Joke lang Lord. :)

I was already half-accepting a negative turn-out. I was already thinking of buying a big bottle of Red Horse and ten packs of Boy Bawang! Hahahahaha! Or if they don't have beers in stock, bibili nalang ako ng blade at kalamansi! Hahahahahahaha!

Red Horse - Chocolate Flavor.

Kumabaga sa relasyon, andun nako sa process of "Acceptance", hahaha! Ambilis. LOL.

BUT WAIT!

THERE'S MORE....

I just received a good news awhile ago.

Mukhang natuwa naman sila sa katangahan ko. :) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! In other words, I'm off to my next adventure.

And it's going to happen this Monday. It's really something major and I'm glad that they're giving me this weekend to prepare.

Thank you, Lord!

So this weekend, goodbye muna ang lakwatsa! Goodbye muna ang DVD marathon! Goodbye muna ang kaartehan! Goodbye muna ang lahat-lahat! Kelangan kong mag-aral ng mabuti at mag-focus.

I couldn't afford to make another mistake this Monday. This is a make-or-break.

Pray for me ha? :) Para lalong ma-pressure si Lord, hahahahaha!

Abot-tenga yung ngiti ko now. Parang ganito. =)))))

Hope you all get your dose of miracle today!!!!!!!

Live Life!

1. As we grow older, some of us get lost in the monotony of life. We tend to lose our playful side as we become more focused on the serious stuff of everyday living. But you know what, it's okay to act goofy sometimes. (READ: Sometimes lang). Stop obsessing about what others will think, just let it go. Do random, crazy stuff every once in awhile.

2. Love your parents. No matter how busy you get, take time out to visit your oldies. They've worked hard to feed you and put you through school. The best kind of payback you can give them is to make them feel that you love and honor them.

3. You are never too old to get back in school. You are never too old to learn new things. Read books. Watch sensible shows on TV. Always have a thirst for knowledge. You'll never know when those little tidbits might come in handy. (Watch porn & read smut too coz you wouldn't know when you need to pull off a trick or two, hahaha.)

"".

4. Learn to explore. There's a big world out there that's waiting for you. Get lost in a place you've never been to. Hop on a plane and get ready to rumble. Hehehe! :)

5. Be bold and feisty. Be comfortable with who you are. Always remember that confidence is sexy!

It's two more days till the week comes to a close. I cunt wait! Haha!

It's been a month since I sent my laptop for repair. Until now wala pa din. Aguy! Sony, pakibilisan namannnn!

UST @ 400

I miss the times I've spent in Colayco Park pseudo-studying (when I was actually boy-watching..hehehe!)
I miss eating budget meals in Almer's with friends and classmates
I miss going to the Coop after class to eat kwek-kwek and fishballs
I miss the smell of old books in the library
I miss hanging out in Tinoko Park
I miss the cat-calls I get everytime I'd walk in Espana in my all-white uniform (cat-calls coming from the Rugby boys and the manong drivers. Hahahah!)
I (don't) miss being stranded in school because of the flood
I (don't) miss wearing black kung-fu shoes during P.E.

======================================================================

BLOOPERS :

Toink! Sorry naman, tao lang. Hehe.

* Pauwe nako ng school dati tapos sumakay ako ng Fx. May nagbayad ng pamasahe and the conversation between the pasahero and the driver went like this:

PASAHERO : Manong bayad po.
DRIVER : San galing?
PASAHERO : Sa trabaho po.

Tapos tawa ako ng tawa. Hindi ko napigilan tumawa kase natawa ko sa sagot nung pasahero. Kaso nagtataka ko kase ako lang ang tumatawa. Turns out, may street pala talagang "Trabajo". Syet! Tatanga-tanga lang talaga. Hehehehe!

 I love you USTe!

I Commit To Change: Become a "better version" of myself

Yes, you read it right - I want to become better. I am not doing too bad (lol) but I want to strive to become better. I have always seen myself as a "work in progress" that is why I make it a point to (re)evaluate my life every once in a while. I was not given a manual on how to live my life so I do it by trial-and-error. Hehe.

So how do I turn from good to better? Hmmmm.... (*looks up Dra. Belo's number in the directory*)

Haha.

When I say better, it's more of an inner change, an inner improvement. Because if I feel better inside, it will show on the outside. Right? Right!

I Commit To Change: To keep my inner child alive.

I commit to never lose the child in me. By learning how to appreciate the little things. By looking at the world with childlike fascination. By learning how to love without conditions. By not sweating the small stuff. By learning how to embrace the moment.

Bordering from goofy to silly to downright crazy!

I will never be too old for fun and laughter. I take my life seriously but there has to be a balance between work and play.

I Commit To Change: No pretensions.

I commit to never be afraid to show my real self. I have never been the typical, conventional Filipina. I do not always conform with the norms, but I always try to stay within what is legal. Hehe. I commit to be proud of who I am – idiosyncrasies and all – because it is not bad to be unique.

Hongkong 2006 - Please remind me to never ever wear this in Manila. Hehe.

I Commit To Change: Take better care of myself.

No one will truly love me but me so in my quest to become better, I need to look after myself. I need to watch what I eat. I need to start eating healthy. And most importantly, I need to get lots and lots of sleep!!!!

Goodnight cruel world,Hahaha! =D

I Commit To Change : Smart is the new sexy.

I commit to finish my studies no matter what. No excuses this time around. I will also try to read more books of different topics in order to gain more knowledge about the things that surround me. I commit to learn new things because smart is the new sexy.

Teacher, Teacher may I go out?

Good evening Philippines! :)

I don't have new unpure thoughts to blog about so I'll just share with you how my day went. It's School-day Saturday once again so I woke up early today - and by early I mean 40-mins-before-my-class early. Hahaha! I had my alarm set at 5am the night before but I didn't roll out of bed until after 6:30am. FOCKKKKK!

I had a quick shower, quick breakfast and made a mad dash to the door. LOL. Man, I moved so fast I felt like the spirit of The Flash took over me.

But of course, the traffic in Philcoa failed me again. Grrrrr. Good thing my professor was also late for class. We arrived almost at the same time. Whew.

Galing ko magPhotoshop no? Lovetttt! Hahahaha! (Ambisyosa!)

My class schedule today is from 7:30am to 4pm with only a 30-mins break in-between. Waaaaah! I'm not in the mood to eat something heavy during breaktime so I just brought snacks. (and by snacks I mean junk food!)

Ayos ba? Parang elementary lang no? LOL! I love Marty's!!!!!!

My professor in Entrepreneurial Behavior is a very nice old lady (very 'showbiz' description I know, just in case she reads my blog.. lol).  I was wearing a miniskirt during our last meeting and she told me not to wear a short skirt to her class next time. Ooooookkkkayyyy! So I wore 'em pants on today (because I am an obedient girl) BUT I paired it with a tanktop. Syet! I forgot to bring a jacket or something.

I love her =)

Prof: Iha, hindi ka ba nilalamig sa suot mo?
K: Hindi po ma'am.

(Prof looks at my seatmate.)

Prof: Buti nalang babae yang katabi mo kung hindi mawawala sa concentration yan sa suot mo.
K: Ma'am naman. Wala naman po syang ikaka-distract.

Laughter from the class.
(Prof looks at me again.)

Prof: Ay oonga iha, wala nga no! Pero kahit na....

Hahahahahaha! Syet.

And that, my unpure friends, is the highlight of my day. LOL!

How's your weekend going?

Knowledge is Power

Summer break's over. So that only means one thing - it's schooltime once again! Yay!  How I wish enrolment's a breeze tomorrow. No long lines I hope!

You know what else I am 'Yay'-ing about?

I love that my days off from work has been moved to Friday and Saturday! Yay! Last semester was really a nightmare. Imagine getting off work at 7am and then rushing off to school (with no sleep at all) because you need to be on time for your 7:30AM class! Horrendous!  At least now I can get enough sleep before attending my Saturday classes. I love it. No more sleepy episodes in school. Double backflip! :)

This is a good start of the month.

Hope you guys are starting June with good vibes too! And to all the kids reading my blog, remember "School is Cool". Hehe. As if I have barely-legals reading my unpure shit. LOL.

My Motel Experience (and no, it doesn't involve whips & chains)

How did my weekend go?

Hmmm.. I went to work Friday night. Month-ends are really chaotic. So many things to finish before another month begins. Such a pain in the bun but I'm not complaining. Just stating a fact. Ha!

I got off work Saturday morning and rushed off to school for my 7:30am class.

Funnily enough, I thought I was deadmeat because I had a couple of homeworks that were due that day that I was not yet able to complete. B-U-T to my delight,  there were no classes that day! Woo-hoo!  Instead of the usual classroom discussion, all of us were required to attend this conference about this and that. I will not delve into details because I don't want to bore you out of your wits.

Anyway, the conference was scheduled for the whole day so my friend and I decided to stuff ourselves with lots and lots of food to fight off the sleepiness (I havent had sleep yet remember since I came from work??), the hunger and the boredom away.

My friend and I decided to eat out for lunch since most of the food in the school cafeteria was blah! Because there werent any fastfood joints  relatively close, you know where we ended up having lunch? In the restaurant of a drive-thru motel! Hehehe!
(here's our pic while waiting for the speaker to arrive)

Uhhhmmm, well if you live in Manila, you will probably have an idea where this is at...

But for the benefit of our dear beloved readers across the globe (Naks! Haha), we ate at Town and Country Hotel (or is it Motel?) in  Sta.Mesa.   This place is infamously known to be the "earthquake capital" of Manila because there are lots of horizontal movements happening in this side of town, if you know what I mean. Hahaha!

I was super hungry that  day but I wasn't in the mood to eat motel food so I just  ordered burger and  fries.  Plus we  need to get back in an  hour for the second half of the conference.   Anyway, I do not know if it was out of hunger or what, but the burger tasted heavenly! Surprisingly, the fries and the chicken that went with it also tasted delisioso!  And it's all for a measly  P115 (roughly $2.50)!
Another nice thing about eating there is that despite the heat of the afternoon Manila sun , the place is coooool and it has TV and the restroom's clean! I wouldn't mind eating there again next week when I go to school. What other motel food do you think is palatable? Pancit? Sisig? Spaghetti?
