My Weekend Get-away

Heading to the beach last weekend was a welcome respite from my very busy schedule at work! I went to a beach in Batangas with some of my closest friends for a much needed R andR.

I love going to the beach. I love the tranquility that the sound of the waves bring. I love how everything seems peaceful. It's so nice to just sit and relax. To just think of nothing. To just enjoy the moment.

How was your weekend? Any plans of going to the beach soon? Sama ko! :)

The Unpure One,

P.S. I will post the rest of the pics in the coming days.

My (Anti) Valentines Post

So what if I'm single on Valentines? (without a hint of bitterness. LOL!) Hey, hearts day isn't only for couples, you know! Valentines is about LOVE in general. Love towards your parents, your siblings, your friends, your pets and yeah, your significant other.

I was in Makati around 4am earlier today and I already see alot of people selling and carrying red roses. Awwww, too sweet! :) I'm not really a flowers-and-chocolates kind of girl that's why my exes give me these exact same things during V-day because they can't wait to see the look of horror on my face! Hehehehe! I like receiving personalized, handwritten love letters and cuddles and lots of warm hugs and wet kisses instead.

It's a good thing that I have work tonight that's why I have a reason to not celebrate it. LOL! But seriously, I like V-day because it's that one day in the year when everyone I know turns into one big ball of mush. I like everything mushy and cheesy. I like romance. I like the feeling of being in love. That intoxicating, nauseating feeling.

It doesn't matter if I am single now. I still feel loved although not the nauseating, butterflies-in-my-stomach kind of love. I feel the love of my friends who have been there for me during my tough moments. They are my source of strength.

I feel loved by my family. They have always accepted me and treated me with kindness regardless of my shortcomings. I feel blessed to be surrounded by people who gives without expecting much in return.

I feel loved by the people around me. I am weird most of the time. I have terrible moodswings. But there are people in my life who accepts me and loves me, inspite of.

And to all of you who are reading this post, I feel loved because you never get tired of visiting my blog eventhough I don't get to post much nowadays.

LOVE is undefinable. It's not even quantifiable. So regardless of your definition of what love is, Happy Valentines Day to all of you! :)

P.S. If you are in a relationship, this might be a great day to propose to your significant other!

Get down on one knee.
And repeat after me.
" (Girlfriend's name), will you (hump) marry me?"

Tongue Twister!

I have a real job but because times are hard, I do 'rakets' on the side. I host birthday parties for kids. I love kids. I love it when I see them smile. And knowing that I made them smile makes me happy even more. I hosted a party in Ayala Alabang last December and the kids were super cute. Look at them --

May blonde, may brunette, may asian. Para silang United Nations. Hahaha! If you look closely, all of them are barefoot because I asked them to remove their shoes/slippers.

I had a super funny moment while I was at the party. The party started around 2pm and I was there an hour before. The guests started to arrive around 1:30pm and they were a mix of Europeans, Asians, Spanish and Americans. There was this one kid who looked like he was of Spanish descent, about 5 or 6 years old ata sya. And very gwapo! At his age, he was wearing a cute longsleeves and khaki pants! Thinking that all of them are foreigners, I started talking in Tagalog para ndi nila ko maintindihan. So I said :

K: "Wow ang gwapo naman nyang bata na yan, pag laki nyan, hihintayen ko yan!"

And then the dad said, "Uy I heard that! Ikaw ha!". O-M-G. Gusto ko lamunin ng lupa right that very moment. The dad understood everything I said! Haha! Here's a photo of the cute kid --

Pogi diba? :) I told you! And then last Sunday, I hosted a wedding reception in the Butterfly Pavilion in Rizal Park. It was my first time to host a wedding and I wasn't really nervous or anything but everytime I'd tell people to "SIT BACK AND RELAX", what comes out instead is "SIT BAX AND RELACK". Bwahahahahaha! Epic fail! And I think I said that three times pa! Funnyyyyyyy! I think I need to practice my tongue. LOL!

"Sit Bax and Relack!"

And last but not the least, I hosted a party in Greenbelt two weeks ago and the client told me to come in a princess attire because it was a Princess-themed party.

Fortunately, I didnt have any party booboos that day. Hehehe! Thank goodness!

So that's what I have been very busy with the past few weeks. Ikaw, what have you been up to? :)

Past Life

I have a friend who thinks she’s a princess in her past life because she’s drawn to all things gold and sparkly. She has a collection of gold bangles, gold (colored) shoes, and dresses with (fake) gold studs.

I have a friend who thinks she might have been a song writer in her past life because she’s musically inclined and she can remember the lyrics of a song even if she’s just heard it once.

I have a guy friend who thinks he’s a rabbit in his past life. Because rabbits are known to be….  You know the rest of the story. Hehehehe.

Well, feeling ko “bading” ako in my past life. And here are the reasons why :

1 – I love all things furry, frilly and colorful.
2 – I have a lot of gay friends and they love me to bits.
3 – I don’t have jugs. LOL!
4 – I don’t think Piolo Pascual is hot.
5 – I love watching gay porn, M-to-M is the bomb! Hehehe.

How about you? What/who do you think were you in your past life?
