Earth Hour 2010

This Saturday, March 27th,  we are being encouraged to turn the lights off between 8.30 and 9.30 as Earth Hour begins. While you’re in the dark think about what else you could do to make a healthier planet.

People all over the world will switch their lights off as a way of showing positive action against global warming . 109 countries and over 1733 cities have signed up to go dark for an hour.

WWF website is inviting people to make a pledge. It also has a how to make your own lantern kit to show your support for Earth hour.

Earth Hour is about raising awareness of climate change issues and encourages people to switch off lights for one hour once a year. How about taking one more step in addition to turning the lights off.
